We provide basic needs & other services to women & their families who are at risk. Services such as budget assistance, food, diapers/toiletries, financial assistance, furniture vouchers, emergency hotel stays & referrals to other community resources and peer counseling are designed so women may become and stay self-sufficient.
The Transitional housing program is a self-sufficiency program for low income women and their children who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. We have 12 units, all two bedroom/ 1 bathroom in Palm Bay and Melbourne. There is one efficiency unit for a single woman without children.
The Women’s Center Career Guidance program is a personalized program that explores career options and individual growth. Those who participate are able to have a clearer understanding of who they are, what motivates them, the skills they want to use in their work, and the education or specialized training that may be required.
