Jenny's Walk for the Womens Center.

*In order to avoid COVID as much as possible, they have decided to walk the Vermont section of the AT and will start Monday September 14 and are hoping to continue walking through September 30.
Jenny Gessler, our retired Executive Director, will be doing a walk on the Appalachian Trail to support the Women’s Center. This trip, she and her sister-in-law, will be walking 75 miles through the Smoky Mountain National Park on the trail. Their trail names are Herk and Wayfarer, and if you donate, Jenny will add your name to her famous (infamous?) update email so you can follow them on their walk. Or you can follow along on Facebook. The adventures that ensue are worth the donation! They seem to get into some interesting situations as life on the trail can be quite unexpected.
